Please follow these easy to use instructions to create a great impression for custom trays for at home bleaching. Make sure your hands are clean and dry, wash them if you like.

  1. Find enclosed 1 Dr. George’s Dental White Kit, 2 impression trays (1 upper and 1 lower), 1 retainer box for storing your customized whitening trays, 1 Pre-addressed Postage-paid return envelope, and 3 sets of impression putty. Each set is a different color, which will be used to make an exact stone model of your teeth. One set is a spare in case you damage one of your first two sets while trying to make your upper or lower impression.
  2. First, use the upper impression tray and open one container of each color of the impression putty and mix each color together. Knead and roll the two colors until they are blended into one uniform color. Next, roll the impression putty into a hot dog shape and place it into the impression tray. Do not take more than 30 seconds, because after 30 seconds the impression putty begins to harden.
  3. Place the loaded tray over the upper teeth. Teeth should be centered in the middle of the impression putty, with the handle directly under the nose. Press firmly with your fingers so you can feel the material flow over your teeth and gums. Do Not Bite on the tray. Keep the impression in place for 90 seconds, then remove the tray, rinse under cold water, and inspect. It is important that you do not remove the impression before the 90 seconds and that your 8 front teeth and some of the gums above the teeth are clearly seen.
  4. You should be able to clearly see the impression of your teeth and underlying gums. If you do not have a good impression, then use your spare set and try once more. The trays can be re-used by removing the old impression material that has hardened.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for your lower teeth using the lower tray.
  6. Once you have both impressions (do not remove the impressions from the trays), place them in the pre-addressed Postage-paid envelope (be sure to put your return address on the envelop) along with the customer order form and return to:
